CAL FIRE Strategic Plan 2024

CAL FIRE is planning for its future and setting a direction for what the coming years should look like for all levels of the department. To do this in a meaningful way, and to capture the unique role that every employee plays in delivering CAL FIRE’s mission daily, the Department is in the process of developing a new 2024 Strategic Plan, building on the goals and objectives of the 2019 strategic plan.

To date, collaborative conversations on department priorities, resources, employee support and the value of partnerships and external relations have taken place with both internal and external audiences. The results of these conversations and formal feedback surveys will form the backbone of the 2024 strategic plan.
