Mike Bradley

Chief Bradley began his professional career in 1991, as a staff Forester for a private consulting firm and then Chief Compliance Forester for the Pacific Lumber Company.  In 2001, he accepted a position with CAL FIRE as a Forester I in the Humboldt Del Norte Unit.  Since then, he has held the positions of Fire Captain A, Fire Captain B, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief over Administration.  Chief Bradley held the Deputy Chief of Resource Management for the Northern Region.  Chief Bradley was also assigned to Sacramento Headquarters on a special detail to develop the Land Use Planning program as part of Senate Bill 1241.  In September 2012, Mike transferred to the Siskiyou Unit as the Administrative Officer, overseeing personnel, finance, training, the ECC and logistical support.  In October 2016, Mike was appointed to the position of Assistant Region Chief for the Northern Region.

Chief Bradley served on Incident Management Team 4 as the Liaison Officer, and was a member of the Liaison Officer/Agency Representative cadre.  Chief Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Forestry from Humboldt State University and is a Registered Professional Forester.
